Playing Up

Parents may request during registration for their player to play up a division.

The following guidelines are considered for playing up a division.  Approval is voted on by the board on a player-by-player basis.

  1. Safety of the player must be the first consideration when playing up from their age division.

  2. 6-year-old players may move up to Coach Pitch if they have played at least 1 year of Little League T-Ball or Coach Pitch in another competitive league (ex - Frenship 5U Coach Pitch)

  3. Players that have been playing up in another competitive league (accounts for age chart differences we may have)

  4. When a division is in need of players to complete a team (ex - need additional players to make 1 or 2 complete teams)

Otherwise, players should stay in their own age division so they can develop skills for their current age.  This also maintains depth in each respective age division to keep our league a strong development program for the future.
